This LITE/SLIM version HDMI extender (LITE HDMI over HDBaseT Extender Kit) uses the advanced HDBaseT technology. It can transmit the HDMI signal, bi-directional IR and RS232 signal over single LAN cable (recommended the STP Cat5e/6/7) up to a long distance and only need to power one side. It can also work with other HDBaseT equipment, such as Sony HDBaseT projector. For the 1080P60Hz resolution, it can transmit to a distance of 70m/220ft, for 4K60Hz(4:2:0) it can up to 35m/110ft. This extender kit can support the EDID and the CEC pass-through, compliant with HDMI2.0, HDCP2.2.
Applications of 4K30 HDMI over HDBaseT Extender Kit With PoC and RS232 Control
HDBaseT is a standard of transmitting uncompressed high-definition multimedia content throughout the home and in the business environment. The core of HDBaseT is that it can gather uncompressed high-quality video, audio, network, control signal and power supply with only one ordinary network cable, and transmit it through the ordinary network cable as a transmission cable. It can centrally transmit control signals through a 70-meter or 100-meter ordinary network cable: HDBaseT can transmit multiple control signals corresponding to different commands at the same time, such as consumer electronics control channel (CEC), RS-232 communication interface, universal serial bus (USB), infrared and Internet protocol (IP) control signals.
The wide application areas of HDBaseT provide manufacturers with unlimited business opportunities, like in the media conference room, school, government, cinema, security system, medical area, traffic area and many other applications.
